What is success? If you know me, I’ve often thrive to succeed in life. To me, success is not having the nicest things, the coolest cars, or the biggest house. (That would be nice…) Success is extremely subjective, but in many people’s eyes, it is often seen through wealth and power. The society we have today quickly paired the two ideas of wealth/power to the word success at a very young age and we blindly accept it as the only criteria to be successful.
I firmly believe success is only valued by the goals you’ve set for yourself. To be completely successful in life you need to leave some kind of foot print. I am not telling you to be the next Bill Gates, or Steve Jobs, but for you to be able to tell yourself at the end of the day that you have done everything you can to reach your goal without neglecting people around you. Whether it is to pay of your parents, make a person smile, contributing to society or supporting your family. & yes i do have a big dream, I do wish I can retire at the age of 35 and be able to support my family. However my bigger goal is to be able to help out the less fortunate. If everyone can just give 1% of their money to help the less fortunate we can solve huge problems like world hunger. Will I ever become successful? There’s a saying I always tell myself “I will always be shooting for the stars, and if I fail I will be with the clouds.” I am hoping that I could inspire others to be successful in not only their career/business but also in life.
